About the team This role is within the Demand Aggregation vertical of Tata nexarc. This team is focused on developing technology solutions for addressing procurement requirements for SMBs. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally for multiple product categories, as you collaborate with internal stakeholders across BD, operations, partner, and marketing teams. The Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced professional to anchor the operations for Steel category. The role is responsible for driving order fulfilment for buyer requirements generated. It covers, but not limited to, engaging with partnered sellers for complete buying process – proposal, finalization and fulfilment. Your success will be measured by timely and successful conversions for buyer requirements received on the platform. What You Will Do:
- Drive the Revenue & profitability objectives for the category
- Own the requirements generated for your category and work with partners signed up to drive business delivery
- Working cross-functionally (demand, operations, product, logistics, credit) to solving problem and solution for the various needs of the business
- Experience in the Steel industry (esp. with Flat products) is a must What You need to have:
- Be a Self-starter, with proven professional success, who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Record of success in purchase \ sales of Steel with SMBs
- Capable of understanding of customer pain points, requirements and correlating with potential value provided by products and services to drive conversions.
- Anchor the order fulfilment with the logistics partners for orders converted
- Experience in Business development and/or technical background
- Ability to work collaboratively with other functions (Supply, Finance, Sales, Credit, Logistics)
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Specifications:
- 8-10 years of experience with demonstrated success in Steel sales
- Experience selling to SMBs
- Knowledge of Steel products, esp. flat products sales to SMBs is a mus
